New to yoga and not sure how to start?
At Teneriffe Yoga we cater to all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. The best way to start is to take the first step and turn up 10 -15 minutes before class. Many people of all ages, shapes and sizes have been on this yoga journey and are now being rewarded.
Who are the Beginners classes for?
Beginners classes are for those who want to start yoga for the first time. It is also for intermediates who want to build on their foundation of practice as it’s a slower and more gentle class. Every class incorporates meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques) and asanas (postures) to help you establish your own personal practice with an emphasis on alignment.
Who are the Intermediate classes for?
Intermediate classes move deeper into each asana with more variations. It is for those wanting to continue to develop their awareness connecting their mind, body and spirit as one. Each class incorporates meditation, pranayama and asanas to enhance your awareness
Which classes can I attend?
You can attend any class at Teneriffe Yoga even if you are a beginner. We acknowledge that there is only one beginners class available and this may be difficult to attend so if you are unsure please send us an email, give us a call or just drop in!
How often should I practice?
The frequency of classes you attend depends on each individual and your intent. As in the laws of natural health, everything must be in balance. If you would like to discuss further please contact me.
How much does it cost?
$20 Casual or $15 per class for a ten class package. Payment via Cash, Eftpos or Credit Card.
What should I bring?
Please wear loose clothing, bring a yoga mat, water bottle, strap and block (some provided). If you don’t have your own yoga mat we stock Manduka, which is of the highest quality and has a life time guarantee. You can hire one for $2 or purchase your very own.
